The Point is administered by Division Point Multimedia, a Washington, D.C., area web, IT, and telecom company.

Division Point owner and blogger Matt Fry has worked full-time in the computer and Internet technology field since 1995, when he was hired as the first web designer and webmaster for a Northern Virginia marketing and distribution services company. From 2000 to 2003, he worked for an area web development firm where he provided both creative and technical services. Division Point has been his full-time occupation since 2004.

In addition to his professional experience, Matt has been building Web sites since the beginning of the Web era, and fixing, building, and otherwise getting to know the ins and outs of computers and technology since the early 1980s. He enjoys both the hands-on work and the intellectual challenge of solving technical problems.
